We believe we need a more active debate about what businesses need to accomplish to be tomorrow’s winners. That is why we created an arena where business leaders, politicians, researchers and influencers can meet to challenge and inspire each other around the theme of building and running long-term successful businesses. One key aspect of this is how to create value not only to customers, owners and employees, but also contribute to a healthy society and a better planet.

The highlight of the Awards is the presentation of finalists and winners. These are being selected though a rigid nomination and evaluation process based on the Business Wellness framework.

Sustainability and profitability
Business Wellness Awards, took place April 27th in Munchenbryggeriet, Stockholm.
Congratulations to the winner Synsam as the Business Wellness company of the year! The award is given to the company that has particularly excelled in creating value for its stakeholders and that is judged to be well equipped for lasting competitiveness and profitability.
Some of the evening's highlights included:
A discussion with Thomas Ekman, CEO of Axel Johnson, and Pontus Fulke, Centigo, about the long-term vision of entrepreneurship.
A conversation with Emma Ihre, Sustainability Manager of Embracer Group, and Daniel Steinholtz, sustainability advisor and author, about the business value of sustainable entrepreneurship.
An introduction to Business Wellness and how we select the Business Wellness company of the year.
Presentation of and interviews with the finalists for this year's Business Wellness company: Bravida, Houdini Sportswear, Vasakronan, and Synsam.
Interviews with our external jury members: Ulrika Matsgård, CEO of BRA Flyg, Anders Svensson, Chairman of Svensk Handel and Stadium, and Christoffer Bergfors, Vice CEO and Owner of Max Burgers, winner of the Business Wellness company of the year in 2019.
